I kicked off my career in whitewater kayaking, where I dedicated a decade to competitive steep creek racing and big wave freestyle. My proudest career moments were racing Jacob’s Ladder on the North Fork Payette River in the former North Fork Championships. In 2022, I was nominated for Kayak Session’s female paddler of the year.
Today, I use my background in filmmaking and network of athletes and creatives to help brands and nonprofits tell their stories. My films have screened worldwide at festivals such as Banff, Mountainfilm, Kendal, and VIMFF. Other films I’ve contributed to have streamed on Netflix and garnered awards at numerous adventure festivals. Most recently I’ve been working with the Paddle Tribal Waters initiative, a program teaching Indigenous youth how to kayak in order to lead the first descent of the Klamath river after the largest dam removal in history.
